Green Days 2018 report

Green Days in Ptak Warsaw Expo.

During the Green Days exhibition there were 4 thematic sectors presenting almost 250 companies and 300 brands. The landscape architecture salon seemed the most spectacular as it was such an extraordinary event that the visitors were extremely impressed. Beautiful garden arrangements prepared by the National Association of Garden Creators seemed unforgettable as they became a fabulous, fairyland, full of gnomes and dwarfs, making visitors feel a part of it. The Landscape Architecture Salon was focused on trainings. At the same time, there were dynamic trainings for professionals in the field of design – at different levels – from student training to certified trainings for professionals. The visitors also had an opportunity to get familiar with terraced garden arrangements presented by Maja Popielarska, well known and accepted the public. Using the materials offered by the exhibitors she prepared three metamorphoses of terraces and balconies.

The Floristic Salon attracted the attention of visitors with the multiplicity of vivid colors. This year’s Star of the Florist Show Anna Lamot-Bach – International Vice-Champion of Poland, presented unique wedding arrangements in three showrooms. Floristry is not just about presentations but also practical trainings conducted by the Flower Forum, starting with online sales techniques to practical florist training. Monika Wilgocka – Master of floristry presented the use of potted flowers in floristic arrangements basing on the products prepared by the Garden Salon Partner, the Polish Flowers Producer Group.

The ceremony of awarding the exhibitors with the prestigious Garden Trend Creators statuettes was the key part of the Exhibitors’ Evening on the first day of the fair. This year, the Garden Trends Creator contest is celebrating its 10th jubilee. For this occasion, the products with the highest marketing and trade potential were awarded with SPECIAL CREATORS.
